Italian word

riuscire

to succeed, to manage to do, to turn out

Looks like

to rush

to move quickly; to hurry

⚠️ The trap

'Riuscire a fare qualcosa' = to manage/succeed in doing something. 'Ce la faccio' = 'I can manage'. Nothing to do with rushing. 'Come è riuscito il piatto?' = 'How did the dish turn out?' (result-focused verb).

To say "to move quickly; to hurry" in Italian:

affrettarsi, fare in fretta (for to rush)

"riuscire" in English means:

to succeed, to manage to do, to turn out

Example

"Non riesco a capire questo esercizio."

"I can't manage to understand this exercise."
