Rule reminder
Three continuative forms: (1) 'stare + gerundio' = action happening RIGHT NOW at this moment (momentary in-progress); (2) 'continuare a + inf' = keep doing (ongoing over time, can be habitual or persistent); (3) 'andare + gerundio' = gradually, progressively continuing (directional change over time, often improving/worsening). Example: 'Sta studiando' (right now), 'Continua a studiare' (keeps studying — persistent), 'Va migliorando' (is gradually getting better).
'La qualità del lavoro ___ aumentando con l'esperienza.' (gradually improving — progressive change) Best?
