Rule reminder

In passive constructions: 'venire + pp' describes the ACTION (process), 'essere + pp' can describe BOTH action and resulting STATE. 'Venire' is preferred when emphasizing that something is actively done (especially habitual/repeated). 'Essere + pp' often describes the resulting condition. Example: 'La porta viene chiusa alle 8' (action, habit) vs 'La porta è chiusa' (state — it is currently closed).
