Rule reminder

Absolute constructions can be expanded into full subordinate clauses. The logical relationship determines which conjunction to use: temporal (dopo che, una volta che, quando), causal (poiché, dato che, visto che, siccome), concessive (sebbene, benché, nonostante). The tense of the subordinate clause must match the sequence of tenses in context.
