Rule reminder

'Anche se' = even if / even though. Unlike 'sebbene/benché', it takes the INDICATIVE (not subjunctive). 'Anche se + conditional' expresses a hypothetical. 'Comunque' = anyway / regardless — goes at the start or end of a clause.
