Argumentative Text — Testo Argomentativo·Thesis Statement Formulation in Italian
💡

Rule reminder

A strong Italian thesis statement (tesi) must be: (1) DEBATABLE — not a fact everyone agrees on; (2) SPECIFIC — scoped to a definable argument, not vague; (3) ARGUABLE in a single essay — not a topic requiring a book; (4) STATED AS A POSITION, not a question. Weak theses are often too broad ('Il cambiamento climatico è un problema'), too obvious, or phrased as a question.
