Conceding a point shows intellectual honesty and strengthens your argument. Key structures: 'È vero che... tuttavia/però/ciononostante', 'Sebbene + congiuntivo... ciononostante', 'Ammetto che + congiuntivo... ma', 'Pur riconoscendo che... rimane il fatto che', 'Non si può negare che... eppure'. Always follow the concession with a 'but' clause that reasserts your position.
