Nominal Style — Stile Nominale·Exercise 43 — Full Register Transformation: Spoken to Formal Written
💡

Rule reminder

Register transformation requires: (1) replacing all verbs with nominalisations where possible; (2) switching from active to passive or impersonal 'si' constructions; (3) replacing colloquial connectives ('però', 'allora', 'visto che') with formal ones ('tuttavia', 'pertanto', 'in considerazione di'); (4) expanding abbreviated expressions into full formal phrases. The goal is a text appropriate for an official report, academic paper, or formal letter.
