'In ragione di' (by reason of / in view of) is a formal prepositional phrase followed by a noun or noun phrase, not a clause. It is used in official, legal, and academic writing to introduce the objective reason for something. Equivalent expressions: 'a motivo di', 'per ragioni di', 'per via di' (less formal).
