Rule reminder
In academic Italian, conditionals appear with formal conjunctions (qualora, ove, laddove, nel caso in cui), passives, modal verbs, and precise tense sequences. The register is elevated and the conditions are often hedged or hypothetical rather than factual.
Proposta di legge: 'Ove il Parlamento _____ il testo emendato, si procederebbe con la promulgazione entro trenta giorni.'
