Rule reminder
When reporting speech involving multiple speakers, each speaker's utterances must be reported with the correct pronoun perspective. In an interview: the interviewer's questions become reported questions ('chiese se', 'volle sapere', 'domandò'); the interviewee's answers become reported statements. Pronouns shift according to who is reporting.
Interview: Giornalista: 'Quando ha deciso di candidarsi?' Politico: 'Ho deciso tre mesi fa.' → Reporter writes: 'La giornalista chiese quando ___. Il politico rispose che ___.'
