Many fixed absolute expressions have become standard phrases in formal, legal, and bureaucratic Italian: 'detto questo', 'premesso ciò', 'vista la situazione', 'considerato quanto sopra', 'fatte le debite considerazioni', etc. These are invariable frozen forms.
