Rule reminder

Pronoun reference (referenza pronominale) is a core cohesion device: a pronoun or demonstrative points back to an antecedent already mentioned. The pronoun must agree in gender and number with its antecedent. Common reference pronouns: lo/la/li/le (direct object), gli/le (indirect object), lui/lei/loro (subject), ne (partitive/of it), ci (place/topic).
