Register matters: formal writing → 'affinché + congiuntivo'; neutral speech → 'perché + congiuntivo' or 'per + infinitive'; informal conversation → 'così + indicativo'; legal/conditional → 'a condizione che + congiuntivo'.
In a formal written document: 'La legge è stata modificata _____ i cittadini _____ (beneficiare) di nuove tutele.'
