Rule reminder
In arguments: state a thesis, support it with evidence, address counterarguments, conclude. Use: 'innanzitutto' (first), 'inoltre' (furthermore), 'd'altra parte / tuttavia' (however/on the other hand), 'nonostante / sebbene' (despite/although), 'pertanto / in conclusione' (therefore/in conclusion).
Adding an unexpected supporting fact: 'L'istruzione è costosa; ___, i paesi con bassa alfabetizzazione spendono di più in assistenza sociale.'
