Rule reminder

'A causa di + noun' = because of (negative cause). 'Grazie a + noun' = thanks to (positive cause). 'Nonostante + noun' = despite (no subjunctive needed with noun). 'In seguito a + noun' = following (formal). These are prepositional connectors — they take a noun, not a conjugated verb.
