Rule reminder

Cause connectors (poiché, siccome, dato che, perché, visto che) explain WHY something happened — they introduce the reason. Consequence connectors (quindi, pertanto, di conseguenza, perciò) introduce WHAT HAPPENED as a result. The direction matters!
