Rule reminder
Volerci = to be needed / to take (time, effort, quantity). It only uses third person forms because the subject is the time/quantity itself. Present: ci vuole (singular), ci vogliono (plural). Past: ci è voluto/a (singular), ci sono voluti/e (plural). Example: 'Ci vogliono due ore' = It takes two hours. 'Ci vuole pazienza' = You need patience.
