Italian word

rientrare

to come back in, to return home, to fall within (a category)

Looks like

to re-enter

to enter again

⚠️ The trap

The re-enter meaning exists but the primary meaning is to return (home, to work). Very importantly: 'rientrare in' = to fall within / to be part of a category. 'Non rientra nel budget' = 'it's outside the budget'.

To say "to enter again" in Italian:

rientrare is partially correct

"rientrare" in English means:

to come back in, to return home, to fall within (a category)

Example

"Questo rientra nelle mie competenze."

"This falls within my competencies."
