⚠️ The trap

A 'questore' is a senior police official, not someone who asks questions. In parliament, a 'questore' is also a parliamentary administrative officer. None of these meanings relate to asking questions.

questore

"questore" in English means:

the chief of the provincial police (the head of the questura)

Example

"Il questore ha dichiarato lo stato di emergenza pubblica."

"The police chief declared a state of public emergency."
