A1🔤 Letters B & C
Italian word
contento
happy, pleased, satisfied
Looks like
content
satisfied; also material contained in something (noun: content)
⚠️ The trap
Contento means happy or satisfied — not the noun 'content' (as in website content). For that use 'contenuto'. 'Il contenuto del video' = the content of the video. 'Sono contento' = I am happy.
To say "satisfied; also material contained in something (noun: content)" in Italian:
contento (= happy/satisfied); contenuto (= content/contents noun)
"contento" in English means:
happy, pleased, satisfied
Example
"Sono contento che tu sia venuto alla festa."
"I am happy that you came to the party."
