Say this when you accepted a suspicious delivery but protected your rights by noting the condition. This phrase will immediately signal to the shop that you are an informed consumer.
'Firmare con riserva' is the formal legal procedure of signing a delivery note while explicitly reserving the right to complain. It is printed or written on the courier document. The opposite is 'firmato senza riserva' (signed without reservation).
