Cultural Note

Italy's ZTL zones are strictly enforced by cameras — there is no leniency for tourists. Florence, Rome, Siena, and most historic centres have ZTL zones. Rental companies charge a 25-40 euro admin fee on top of the actual fine for forwarding it to you.
