'Simile' — 'SI-mi-le'. Three syllables, stress on the first. Don't say 'si-MI-le'.
When you like a style but it doesn't quite work — wrong size, colour or price. Invites the assistant to show alternatives.
'Qualcosa di simile' = something similar. Again the 'qualcosa di + adjective' structure. 'Simile' (similar) is a useful adjective that avoids having to describe what you want precisely.
