Spoken Italian favours: mica (colloquial negation), anche/neanche (everyday emphasis), addirittura (exclamatory surprise), proprio (pinpointing). Pure, neppure, and finanche sound too formal in conversation. Pay attention to tone — indignation, surprise, confirmation, refusal.
