Nominal Style — Stile Nominale·Exercise 36 — Nominalisation of Adjectives
💡

Rule reminder

Adjectives can be nominalised using suffixes such as -ità (stabile → stabilità), -ezza (pieno → pienezza; note: preciso → precisione is an irregular -ione form), -anza/-enza (evidente → evidenza), -ia (gelosia). In formal Italian, nominal forms derived from adjectives replace descriptive clauses and add register.
