Rule reminder

Exceptive connectives (express an exception that prevents or limits): 'a meno che (non)', 'tranne che', 'eccetto che', 'salvo che' + subjunctive; 'tranne/eccetto/salvo' + noun. Restrictive connectives (express a required condition): 'purché', 'a patto che', 'a condizione che' + subjunctive. Formal/legal: 'fuorché', 'fatte salve', 'salvo + noun'.
