Rule reminder

Key rule: 'anche se' + indicative (real situation) or + conditional/past perfect subjunctive (hypothetical). 'Pur' + gerundio (present or past). All other formal connectives (sebbene, benché, quantunque, nonostante che, malgrado che, per quanto) always require the subjunctive.
