Extended context reveals false friend errors that shorter sentences might hide. 'Ricordare' can mean both 'to remember' AND 'to remind' — context tells which. 'Mancare' = to be missing / to lack, but 'mi manchi' = I miss you (not 'you miss me'). 'Realizzare' = to achieve/build/make, not just 'to realise' (accorgersi).
