Rule reminder
Double dislocation (doppia dislocazione) moves two constituents to the front of the sentence, each resumed by its own clitic. Example: 'A Marco, il libro, glielo ho dato.' Here 'a Marco' is resumed by 'gli' and 'il libro' by 'lo', merged as 'glielo'. This construction is very colloquial and emphasizes both the recipient and the object.
