Rule reminder

The choice of resumptive clitic depends on the verb's argument structure. Transitive verbs: direct object → lo/la/li/le. Verbs with 'a + person' (dare, dire, scrivere, telefonare, ecc.): indirect object → gli/le. Verbs with 'di + noun' (parlare, occuparsi, dimenticarsi, ecc.): → ne. Locative verbs (andare, stare, ecc.): → ci. Reflexive verbs: the reflexive clitic stays with the verb.
