Rule reminder

Formal reports (relazioni, rapporti) use a specific set of connectives to structure findings, recommendations, and conclusions. Key features: passive constructions, impersonal forms, and connectives such as 'si rileva che' (it is noted that), 'alla luce dei dati' (in light of the data), 'ne discende che' (it follows from this that), 'in merito a' (with regard to), 'al contempo' (at the same time), 'fermo restando che' (provided that / notwithstanding that).
