Rule reminder

Verbs of volition (volere che, desiderare che, preferire che, insistere che) and emotion (essere felice/contento/dispiaciuto/sorpreso/arrabbiato che, temere che, sperare che) require the subjunctive in the subordinate clause, provided the subjects of the two clauses are different.
