Formal Italian documents use highly standardised collocations that rarely change: 'fare fede' (to serve as evidence/proof), 'aver luogo' (to take place), 'entrare in vigore' (to come into force), 'a decorrere dal' (with effect from), 'a norma di' (in accordance with), 'prendere atto di' (to take note of), 'adire le vie legali' (to take legal action). These are formulaic expressions essential for legal and administrative Italian.
