Rule reminder

Imperfetto = ongoing background weather, habitual past, or description of conditions (pioveva, faceva freddo, era nuvoloso). Passato Prossimo = specific completed weather event, often with a result or a precise time reference (è piovuto, c'è stato un temporale, ha fatto caldo ieri).
