Rule reminder

Use the imperfetto for ongoing or habitual past weather: faceva freddo (it was cold), pioveva (it was raining), nevicava (it was snowing), tirava vento (the wind was blowing), era nuvoloso (it was cloudy). The imperfetto describes the background weather setting.
