Duration expressions: 'per' (for — a measured length of time), 'durante' (during — throughout a period/event), 'da' (since/for — ongoing from past to present with present tense), 'in' (in — time needed to complete something). Choose carefully based on the meaning: ongoing action vs. completed duration vs. time to accomplish a task.
