Sabato and domenica do not. Using the definite article: • il lunedì = on Mondays (every Monday — habitual) • lunedì = this Monday / next Monday (specific) Example: — Vado in palestra il martedì. The four seasons (le stagioni) are NOT capitalised. • la primavera — spring (feminine) • l'estate — summer (feminine, starts with vowel → l') • l'autunno — autumn (masculine, starts with vowel → l') • l'inverno — winter (masculine, starts with vowel → l') Prepositions with seasons: • in primavera — in spring • d'estate / in estate — in summer • in autunno — in autumn • d'inverno / in inverno — in winter Note: 'd'estate' and 'd'inverno' are very common alternatives using the preposition 'di' + elision.
