'Sentire' does everything the English senses do except sight. 'Sento un rumore' = 'I hear a noise'. 'Sento freddo' = 'I feel cold'. 'Sento un buon profumo' = 'I smell a nice scent'. 'Ci sentiamo!' = 'We'll talk!' (phone/text).
