A true cognate (borrowed), but Italian 'zoom' is almost exclusively used for camera/lens functions. The video-calling platform 'Zoom' is also used, but 'zoom' to mean moving fast ('the car zoomed past') is not idiomatic in Italian.
To say "to move very fast; a camera lens function; the video platform Zoom" in Italian:
zoom (borrowed from English, same meaning)
"zoom" in English means:

Example
"Fai lo zoom su quella parte dell'immagine."
"Zoom in on that part of the image."
