A2🔤 Letters I & L
Italian word
intero
whole, entire, complete
Looks like
interior
the inside of something
⚠️ The trap
'Intero' = whole/entire. 'Interno' = interior/inside. Don't confuse them. 'Il ministero degli interni' = 'the Ministry of the Interior (Home Office)'. 'Intero' and 'interior' sound similar but are quite different.
To say "the inside of something" in Italian:
intero (whole); interno (interior/inside)
"intero" in English means:
whole, entire, complete
Example
"Ho mangiato l'intera torta."
"I ate the entire cake."
