Italian audiences interrupt more frequently than Northern European ones. 'Ne parliamo al termine' (we will discuss it at the end) is the standard polite deferral. The 'la ringrazio' (thank you) acknowledges the question without engaging with it immediately.

Mime writing it down — shows respect and creates accountability
Italians are generally comfortable with lively, interactive presentations where questions are raised mid-flow. This is culturally normal, not rude. However, as presenter, you have the right to manage the flow. A calm, explicit deferral is always respected.
