I am travelling with an infant in arms. Is there a bassinet on board?
ne-o-NA-to — stress on third syllable. CUL-la — stress on first syllable, double 'l'.

'Neonato in braccio' (infant in arms) is the airline term for a baby under 2 travelling on a parent's lap. 'Culla' (bassinet/cot) is the term for the fold-down baby bed fitted to bulkhead walls. These must be requested at booking and are subject to availability.

Under-2s pay approximately 10% of the adult fare if on lap
Bassinets on Italian and EU flights are allocated to passengers with infants under approximately 10kg. They attach to the aircraft bulkhead (front wall of a cabin section). Always book this at the time of flight booking — it cannot be guaranteed if requested later. Bassinets must be detached during turbulence.
