Rule reminder

Modal verbs (potere, volere, dovere) can precede perception verbs: Posso sentirlo cantare / Lo posso sentire cantare. With compound tenses, the auxiliary follows the modal: Ho potuto sentirlo cantare / L'ho potuto sentire cantare. In the passive with modals: Non vuole essere visto (He doesn't want to be seen).
