Legal and administrative Italian has its own lexicon: 'il/la sottoscritto/a' (the undersigned), 'in fede' (in witness whereof), 'ai sensi di' (pursuant to), 'a norma di' (in accordance with), 'salvo diversa disposizione' (unless otherwise provided), 'fermo restando' (notwithstanding), 'di cui alla' (referred to in), 'ove applicabile' (where applicable).
