Rule reminder
Formal Italian excludes: colloquial vocabulary ('roba', 'tipo', 'cosa' in place of precise nouns), contractions ('un po'', 'po''), filler words ('ecco', 'cioè', 'insomma'), informally borrowed words (casual Anglicisms), and any form of 'tu'. A formal text must be consistent — one colloquial intrusion breaks the register.
Read the sentence: 'La società ha deciso di rinviare la cosa a data da destinarsi.' Which word breaks the formal register?
