Rule reminder

'Senza che' requires the congiuntivo (subjunctive) when the subject of the two clauses is different. The tense sequence follows standard congiuntivo rules: main verb present/future → congiuntivo presente or imperfetto (for simultaneity or past action); main verb past → congiuntivo imperfetto or trapassato. 'Senza che' expresses absence of an accompanying circumstance.
