Rule reminder

The tense in the result clause follows the tense of the main clause: present/future main → present/future result; past main → past result (imperfetto or passato prossimo/remoto depending on aspect). Era così stanco che si addormentò [completed action]. Era così stanco che dormiva tutto il giorno [ongoing state].
