Rule reminder

Register matters in Italian concession. "Anche se" + indicative is neutral/colloquial. "Sebbene", "benché", "malgrado" + subjunctive are formal/written. "Nonostante" + subjunctive or noun is formal but also used in everyday speech. "Pur" + gerund is formal. "Per quanto" + subjunctive is formal.
