Rule reminder

'Dove' = relative adverb of place (= in cui / nel quale). 'Quando' = relative adverb of time (= in cui / nel quale, with a time antecedent). In formal Italian, 'in cui' or 'nel quale/nella quale' is preferred over 'dove' and 'quando'. 'Dove' can also follow verbs of movement (andare dove, tornare dove).
